Hey there, fellow adventurer! Picture me growing up in the breathtaking Northwest of British Columbia, where every day felt like a scene straight out of a postcard, in the cozy logging town of Terrace.
Let me take you on a journey through my life, filled with twists and turns that have shaped me into who I am today. Imagine bustling days spent co-running a vibrant Hair Salon for a quarter of a century, while my husband brought sparks to life as an electrical contractor for nearly two decades. And let's not forget my exhilarating three decades as a Paramedic/First Aid Instructor, where every moment was a lesson in courage and compassion.
But the adventure didn't stop there. After our son grew up and found love, my husband and I decided to sprinkle some wanderlust into our lives. From local volunteering gigs to jet-setting across the globe, we've been living life to the fullest since 2013. And oh boy, let me tell you about the unforgettable trips to Israel and Ecuador in 2019 – they were the catalyst for my next big leap.
During those magical travels, I discovered my passion for helping others create their dream vacations. So, I dove headfirst into a travel consultant course with Clair Newell and Travel Best Bets, officially joining the Connected Agents Family in March 2020. Talk about timing, right? But hey, when opportunity knocks, you answer – no matter the hour!
Now, even though I might be a fresh face in the travel industry, my love affair with exploration runs deep. With over 40 cruises under my belt (including five post-Covid adventures!), I've sailed through Europe, soaked up the sun in South America, witnessed the dazzling beauty of Antartica and wandered the historic streets of cities across North America. And let's not forget the thrill of cruising through the lower states on a motorcycle or getting lost in the magic of Universal and Disney theme parks!
Currently, you can find me splitting my time between the enchanting city of Cuenca in Ecuador (just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the awe-inspiring Galapagos Islands) and the picturesque West coast of British Columbia, nestled in the charming suburb of Maple Ridge within the Lower Mainland.
When I'm not busy crafting dream vacations, you'll catch me nose-deep in a gripping spy novel or knitting up a storm. Oh, and don't even get me started on my gaming escapades with my trusty Nintendo Switch! And as if that wasn't enough, I'm always up for a challenge, whether it's lacing up my running shoes or racing through the streets of my favorite locales.
